Week 4 Classes
Junior Primary Mindfulness Yoga Class 4
This week we will be singing some more familiar songs that pair with our yoga poses as well as continuing to practice poses that we have been learning in the last few sessions. We will focus on our breath and our movements to help calm our minds and body.
Primary Mindfulness Yoga Class 4
Our Primary Class this week will continue to focus on balance and strength in our yoga poses while focusing on concentrating our mind. We will bring a sense of calm to our practice by using mindfulness and breathing exercises.
Before you Begin our Classes
It is important to remember that, as with any physical activity, injury is possible when practising Mindfulness Yoga. When you perform Mindfulness Yoga poses and movements, ensure that you practise within your limits and do not extend beyond these limits. If you feel any discomfort or pain, softly come out of the pose and do not continue these movements. When practising Mindfulness Yoga, ensure that you do not suffer from any known disability or medical condition which would prevent you from practising Mindfulness Yoga safely. Mindfulness Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. If you are unsure if any of these poses and movements are appropriate for your body, please seek medical advice.
