Junior Primary Mindfulness Yoga Class 2

In this week's Junior Primary Class we will get to meet our Happy Cat, Stretchy Cat, and Disco Cat before warming up with the Sun Salute Song that we learned last week. We will then go surfing into Warrior II pose and then use Child's Pose to help us connect to our body and breath. 

Primary Mindfulness Yoga Class 2

In our Primary Class this week we will warm up our body using the Sun Salute that we learned last week before returning into our Warrior II Pose. We will learn a standing balance by getting into Half Moon Pose and continue to develop our meditation and awareness of our breathing practice.

Before you Begin our Classes

It is important to remember that, as with any physical activity, injury is possible when practising Mindfulness Yoga. When you perform Mindfulness Yoga poses and movements, ensure that you practise within your limits and do not extend beyond these limits. If you feel any discomfort or pain, softly come out of the pose and do not continue these movements. When practising Mindfulness Yoga, ensure that you do not suffer from any known disability or medical condition which would prevent you from practising Mindfulness Yoga safely. Mindfulness Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. If you are unsure if any of these poses and movements are appropriate for your body, please seek medical advice.
