After School Classes

Join us for after school Mindfulness Yoga classes

As part of our After School Program, we are now offering weekly Mindfulness Yoga classes to everyone. Students will be able to choose from our Face to Face and our Online Mindfulness Yoga classes. Our weekly classes will commence on Tuesday the 25th August.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Face to Face Classes

 

We keep our class sizes small and personal, which means each Face to Face class will have a maximum of 15 students. This also allows us to maintain social distancing whilst practicing Yoga. To keep students safe:

  • Our equipment (yoga mats, blocks, and straps) is cleaned at the end of every class.

  • Hand sanitiser is provided for everyone to use.

  • Students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats if they have one.

  • We ask if students are feeling unwell to please not attend our class. We will happily arrange a make-up class.

We recommend students to wear comfortable clothing which will be

appropriate for stretching and to bring a drink bottle with them in case

they need a drink during class. 

Face To Face Classes Details for Term 3:

When: Tuesdays 5:30pm to 6:15pm, beginning in Week 6 on 25/8/20.

Location: Morialta Uniting Chuch Kooka Room - 26 Chapel Street, Magill

Cost: $60 for 5 weeks ($12 per class) 

Please note that classes will continue into Term 4 - there will be 10

classes in total for Term 4.

Supportive Mindfulness Yoga 

 

Our Supportive Mindfulness Yoga Classes are run by a qualified Yoga Instructor who is also a Primary School Educator that has experience in working with children that have learning and developmental needs. These classes have been designed to have smaller numbers (no more than 8 students) so that we can effectively manage the sensory stimuli and address the needs of the children that participate.

 

Our Supportive Mindfulness Yoga Classes are ideal for children who require encouragement and development in areas including:

  • Social skills

  • Body awareness

  • Gross motor skills

  • Self-regulation 

  • Empathy by having a better understanding of their feelings

  • Self-awareness (including interoception) and self-confidence

We recommend students to wear comfortable clothing which will be

appropriate for stretching and to bring a drink bottle with them in case

they need a drink during class. 

Supportive Mindfulness Yoga Details for Term 3:

When: Tuesdays 4:30pm to 5:15pm, beginning in Week 6 on 25/8/20.

Location: Morialta Uniting Chuch Kooka Room - 26 Chapel Street, Magill

Cost: $110 for 5 weeks ($22 per class) 

Please note that classes will continue into Term 4 - there will be 10 classes in total for Term 4.

Online Classes

 

Due to the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, in addition to our face to face classes, we will be offering online classes for students who would prefer to practice Mindfulness Yoga in the comfort of their own home. When you sign up for these classes we will provide you with the information you need to connect with us each week. 

Online Classes Details

When: Thursdays from 4:30pm to 5:15pm, beginning in week 6 on 25/8/20.

Cost: $30 for 5 weeks ($6 per class).

Please note that classes will continue into Term 4 - there will be 10  classes in total for Term 4.
